Stan Wawrinka
Then bromance between Stan Wawrinka and Federer hasn’t hasn’t always been perfect, but both men have shown admiration and respect towards each other. This was illustrated in the final at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, when an emotional Wawrinka failed to tame his teammate.

Weighing in on Federer’s No.1 chances, the current US Open champion believes that a change of tactics from less slice to more topspin is enhancing his performance on the tour.
“He’s playing really well, what is different maybe is he is playing closer from the baseline, preferring, using less his slice, he is using more topspin, putting more pressure all the time, returning better that’s the difference I seem,” Wawrinka said during the Miami Open.
“For sure he has a shot for number one, he has won the (Indian Wells) Masters final. For sure he has a big shot.”
