2. Benjamin Becker

Looking at Benjamin Becker’s career, highest ranking of 35, reached 4th round at the US Open and even won a singles title, you might say to yourself: “What’s Becker doing so far up the list?” It is because the German ended not one, but two great careers of legends. In 2006, Andre Agassi was playing his last US Open. Troubled with back pain after a 20-year long career, Agassi surprised  8th seed Marcos Baghdatis in the second round. However, the five set match took its toll on Agassi, and in the 3rd round, World No. 112 Benjamin Becker upset Agassi and ended his career in 4 sets. Four years later, Becker rose to No. 46, and was faced with the task of ending yet another career of a former No. 1, Carlos Moya. Moya missed the majority of the 2009 season due to lingering foot injury, with which he played in 2010. Becker put Moya down with a 6-0 6-2 win, and the Spaniard announced retirement in November 2010. Today, Becker is still on tour at 35 years old, flirting with an exit from the Top 100.
