Novak Djokovic has entered the Adelaide International which takes place the week before the Australian Open.
The Serb is scheduled to participate in the week before the Australian Open as he boosts his preparations for the first Grand Slam of the year.
Djokovic will aim for a record-shattering 25th Grand Slam title in Melbourne but it won’t be easy given his Grand Slam season last year.
The Serb reached the semi-finals at three of the four Grand Slams and also lost to either Jannik Sinner or Carlos Alcaraz in three of the four Grand Slams.
That will be something Djokovic will aim to rectify and playing a week before the Australian Open might be the thing that changes the Serb’s fortunes.
Djokovic is scheduled to be the top seed in Adelaide where he will be joined by Jack Draper, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Jiri Lehecka, Tommy Paul and Joao Fonseca.
Meanwhile a strong line-up is set to arrive on the women’s side with Jessica Pegula highlighting the WTA 500 event.
The American will be joined by Madison Keys, Mirra Andreeva and Belinda Bencic with this being the final stop on the route to the Australian Open.
