
Roger Federer might have ended his season early due to injury, but his popularity on the tour is no less. Today marks the Swiss players 35th Birthday and to celebrate Ubitennis have compiled a list of ten milestones that he has achieved in his glorious career.
1) 17 Grand Slam titles – Federer has won more grand slam titles in the singles than any other player in history. He has won the Australian Open four times, French Open once, Wimbledon seven times and the US Open five times. His current record in grand slam finals is 17-10.

2) 88 Titles – Federer has won 60 titles on a hard-court, 15 on grass, 11 on the clay and two on Carpet.
3) Only two men have won more ATP titles than him – Federer’s tally of 88 trophies is the third highest in ATP history. Only Ivan Landl (94) and Jimmy Connors (109) have won more.
4) Has won 82% of all of his matches – The 35-year-old currently has 1080 wins on the ATP tour, which is the second highest in history after Connors’ record of 1256. Federer has already played 1245 matches in his career.
5) 302 weeks at world No.1 – Federer is the first and so far only tennis player to spend over 300 weeks at the top of the rankings.
6) Has ended his season in the top 10 every year since 2002 – This record is likely to end in 2016 following Federer’s withdrawal from the tour due to a knee injury.
7) Once played 105 points without producing an error – the remarkable achievement occurred at the 2007 US Open when he defeated John Isner 6-7(4), 6-2, 6-4, 6-2.

8) Has won the ATP Finals a record six times – 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011.
9) No other man has won more titles on the grass than Federer – The Swiss player currently has 15 titles with a win-loss of 152-23 on the surface.
10) Has won 307 matches in a grand slam – he surpassed Martina Navratilova’s record of 306 at the Wimbledon championships when he came from two sets down to defeat Marin Cilic.
