Saturday features second and third round singles action, as the tournament still looks to get back on schedule after many rain delays the last few days.
2024 champion Jannik Sinner will make his 2026 Miami debut on Saturday, as will defending champion Jakub Mensik. A year ago, Alexandra Eala was another player who enjoyed a big breakthrough at this event. In the third round, she will face Magda Linette, who upset Iga Swiatek on Thursday. And the night session will feature Coco Gauff and Alexander Zverev.
Here’s a rundown of the most notable matches on Saturday (in chronological order, all times local):
Damir Dzumhur vs. Jannik Sinner (2) – Not Before 1:00pm on Stadium Court
Sinner is 13-2 this season, and has now reached the final at six of his last seven Masters 1000 events. This is his first career meeting with Dzumhur, a 33-year-old who is just 3-7 on the year at tour level.
Alexandra Eala (31) vs. Magda Linette – Fourth on Grandstand Court
Last year entering this tournament, Eala was a wild card ranked 140th in the world, yet advanced all the way to the semifinals with victories over three Major champions (Ostapenko, Keys, Swiatek). In her opening round on Friday, 20-year-old Eala required three sets to overcome Laura Siegemund, in a match that lasted three hours and 20 minutes. Later that day, Linette took out an out-of-sorts Iga Swiatek in three sets, Magda’s second three-set victory of the week. Linette leads their head-to-head 2-1, though their most recent encounter went to Eala in straights, which occurred at the beginning of the year in Auckland.
Adam Walton (Q) vs. Jakub Mensik (12) – Fourth on Butch Buchholz Court
Like Eala, Mensik is defending the biggest result of his career, as 52 weeks ago, he became the surprise champion in Miami with wins over a trio of top 10 players (Draper, Fritz, Djokovic). And he’s gotten off to a good start during 2026, with a record of 14-5 and a title in Auckland. Walton is a 26-year-old Australian qualifier who reached the fourth round here a year ago, his best-ever result at a Masters tournament.
Alycia Parks vs. Coco Gauff (4) – Not Before 7:00pm on Stadium Court

Gauff came back from a set down on Friday to defeat Elisabetta Cocciaretto, in her first match since suffering a left arm injury iatIndian Wells. Parks already upset Maria Sakkari in straights, to advance to the third round at a WTA 1000 event for just the second time in the 25-year-old’s career. Two years ago at the Australian Open, Gauff comfortably beat Parks by a score of 6-0, 6-2.
Martin Damm (WC) vs. Alexander Zverev (3) – Not Before 8:30pm on Stadium Court
Zverev was the runner-up here back in 2018, and was a semifinalist this year at both the Australian Open and Indian Wells. Damm is a 22-year-old American wild card ranked 133rd in the world, who benefitted from a mid-match retirement in the first round. All three of Martin’s match wins at Masters level have come in Miami, with two of them via retirements.
