The Indian Wells wildcards have been announced with the tournament in California set to start next week.
Headlining the wildcard’s on the men’s side is 39 year-old Gael Monfils who is making his final appearance at Tennis Paradise.
Despite Stan Wawrinka also playing his last year on the ATP Tour, the Swiss has not been given a wildcard for California.
Other men’s wildcards for the main draw include talented Spaniard Rafael Jodar, Zachary Svajda and Martin Damm Jr.
Meanwhile, on the women’s side former champion Bianca Andreescu headlines the wildcards as the Canadian continues her road to recovery.
After competing at ITF events, Andreescu made her return to the main WTA tour in Austin where she lost to Dalma Galfi in three sets in the opening round.
Joining Andreescu in Indian Wells will be seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams as well as former Australian Open finalist Jennifer Brady and Olympic silver medallist Donna Vekic.
