Alexander Bublik continues to produce impressive form over the last few months as he is into the Gstaad final.

The Kazakh has had quite the last few months which started by reaching the Roland Garros quarter-finals.

That was followed up by winning the ATP 500 title in Halle where he defeated world number one Jannik Sinner on his way to the title.

Now Bublik is into a clay court final for the first time in his career after securing a 6-1 7-5 win over Arthur Cazaux.

After his win Bublik said adapting to clay is part of being successful as a tennis player, “Tennis is tennis, we play in all conditions: Rain, sun, wind… We have to adapt, and clay is one of those things,” Bublik told the ATP website.

“Surprisingly, I have been winning every match in two sets, but before the tournament I was not convinced on court.”

Bublik’s resurgence is now complete as he will return to the world’s top 30 for the first time since last year.

Now Bublik prepares for a 13th career ATP final as he takes on Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the Gstaad final.

After stunning Casper Ruud in the quarter-finals, Cerundolo knocked out Peruvian Ignacio Buse in the semi-finals to reach his second ATP tour final of his career.

A new ranking milestone has also been unlocked for Cerundolo who will return to the world’s top 100 for the first time since 2023.
