Felix Auger-Aliassime overcame a tough battle with Quentin Halys 5-7 6-4 6-3 to reach the final in Dubai.

It was a tough battle for the Canadian who had to overcome a motivated Halys to prevail in three sets.

The world number 21 is in incredible form this season with this being his third final in 2025 after winning titles in Adelaide and Montpellier.

Speaking after his tough win over Halys, Auger-Aliassime spoke about overcoming fatigue as he reached the final in Dubai, “I don’t know how I pulled it through today,” Auger-Aliassime told the ATP website.

“I only played three-setters this week, we were both feeling a bit tired I think. It was just [about] having positive self talk, I think everyone can relate. When we’re having a tough day, just to have a pep talk and stay positive. I did that well and dug deep physically, so I’m really happy it paid off today.

“It’s never easy, coming from Doha you feel a bit tired. But it’s the same challenge for everyone, that’s what is interesting. It’s [about] who’s going to be sharp when they need to, and win the important points. It’s never easy, but I feel more and more confident that I have the solutions to come through matches like this.”

A third title could await Auger-Aliassime but the Canadian will have to get past Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final.

After a rough season, Tsitsipas earned a much needed 6-4 6-4 win over Tallon Griekspoor to reach his 19th career final and his first since Barcelona last year.

The head-to-head is 6-3 Tsitsipas heading into tomorrow’s final.
