The Canadian extended his winning streak to 16 matches after a convincing win over the American.

Felix Auger Aliassime is two wins away from winning his fourth straight ATP title at the Paris Masters in Bercy after beating the American Frances Tiafoe in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 in one hour and 32 minutes.

Two days ago he made history at the Paris Masters playing the longest match after beating the Swede Mikael Ymer in three hours and 30 minutes on court one.

The Montreal native hit 24 winners, served eight aces, and won 86% of his first serve points in a match where once again he was able to dominate, wear down, and frustrate his opponent.

The Canadian got off to a roaring start winning his opening service game and breaking serve the following game on the first break point of the match with a sublime backhand return winner.

At 3-0, he had two more chances but the Hyattsville, Maryland native saved both but was able to break him again at 4-1 and served out the first set in only 27 minutes.

The second set stayed on serve for the first two games before the number eight seed was able to once again break the American serve early in the set to take a 3-1 lead.

At 5-3, there was a very long game in which Auger Aliassime had five match points but Tiafoe was able to save all five before eventually being able to hold serve.

The Canadian sealed the win in the very next game and booked a rematch with the Dane Holger Rune on Saturday almost a week after beating him in the final in Basel.

He will be looking for a chance to once again make another final and hopefully win another title before making the trip to Italy to finish his season at the ATP Finals in Turin.
