Ekaterina Alexandrova clinched her third Open BLS de Limoges WTA 125 k Series title after beating Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-1 6-3 after just 56 minutes. Alexandrova had already won this tournament beating Caroline Garcia in 2016 and Evgenya Rodina in 2018.
Alexandova hit seven aces and won 80 % of her first service points. The Russian player earned an early break to open up a 2-0 lead and held serve at love in the next game. She won 12 consecutive points to race out to a 5-0 lead. Sasnovich saved a set point to hold serve for 5-1. Alexandrova held serve at love with an overhead winner to seal the opening set 6-1. She never faced a break point in the opening set.
Alexandrova earned an early break with a forehand winner to take a 2-1 lead. She went up a double break at 4-2 earning a chance to serve for the championships. Sasnovich broke serve for the first time in the match, as Alexandrova was serving for the match. Alexandrova broke Sasnovich in the ninth game to seal the win on the second match point.
