Novak Djokovic is closing in on his bid to equal Roger Federer’s all-time record of six titles at the ATP Finals. The world No.1 secured his second win by brushing aside Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Djokovic’s place in the semis was then secured with the help of John Isner, who took a set off Marin Cilic before losing.
Away from the courts, players continue to highlight the problems they face on the tour less than 24 hours before the ATP launches their World Team Cup, which will come to fruition in 2020.
Concerning the other group, Roger Federer will be facing a tough mission when he returns to the court on Thursday.
