Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool overcame defending champions Kevin Puetz and Kevin Krawietz 7-6 (11-9) 6-2 in 1 hour and 22 minutes at the Inalpi Arena in Turin.
Cash and Glasspool have become the first all-British doubles team to secure the year-end world number one men’s doubles ranking. They saved three set points at 5-6, 7-8, 8-9 in the tie-break and won the final three points to seal the tie-break 11-9.
The British team broke twice in the first and third games and closed out the second set 6-2 on the first match point after 1 hour and 22 minutes.
Cash and Glasspool won a total of seven titles during a successful 2025 season. They started this year by winning the title in Brisbane. During the summer they won four consecutive tournaments at Queen’s, Eastbourne, Wimbledon and Toronto. During this period they won 22 consecutive matches. They became the first all-British team to claim a Grand Slam men’s doubles title since 1936. They also won two ATP 500 titls in Doha and Vienna and reached Masters 1000 finals in Miami and Monte-Carlo.
Cash is making his debut at the ATP Finals in Turin. Glasspool is making his second appearance at the end-of-year tournament.
“It’s been one crazy year, that’s for sure,” said Cash after lifting the Year-End ATP Doubles No. 1 presented by PIF trophy in an on-court ceremony. “We put an awful lot of work in during the offseason. We couldn’t have done it without everyone there in the box, also my family up there. It takes a lot of people to get to this spot.
