Iga Swiatek cruised past world number 41 Marie Bouzkova 6-1 6-1 in 79 minutes on her debut at the Wuhan Open.
Swiatek won 31 of 51 points and broke six times. The former world number 1 player leads 2-0 in her head-to-head matches against Bouzkova.
Swiatek broke Bouzhkova twice to race out to a 4-0 lead. Bouzhkova pulled one break back in the fourth game in the fifth game, but Swiatek earned her third break in the sixth game for 5-1. The Polish player served out the first set 6-1 on her second set point after saving a break point.
The six-time Grand Slam champion earned three more breaks to close out the second set 6-1 on her second match point.
Swiatek won three titles at Wimbledon, Cincinnati and Seoul.
