Andy Murray has re-hired Ivan Lendl to be his coach with the pair set to work with each other after the Miami Masters.

The three-time grand slam champion has reportedly come to an agreement with Lendl as they will work with each other after Murray has played in Miami.

Murray will skip the clay court season with the Brit looking to train hard in the coming months before aiming for a deep push at Wimbledon and the grass court season.

It will be the third stint for Lendl as Murray’s coach with the previous two stints ending with Murray winning two Wimbledon titles, a US Open and two Olympic Gold medals.

They split in 2014 with Lendl being unable to commit to Murray’s schedule on the tour before rejoining in 2016 until 2017 when Murray faced a lengthy absence from the tour due to hip surgery.

Now Lendl re-joins the camp with Murray looking for consistency having just broke into the top 100 again.

The main focus will be Wimbledon as a fresh Murray looks to go deep in a grand slam and prove to himself that he still has one last grand slam run left in him.

First for Murray will be Indian Wells and Miami before joining up with Lendl where the Brit has a wildcard into the main draw of both tournaments.

Indian Wells starts on the 10th March while Miami begins on the 23rd of March.

Wimbledon will start on the 27th of June with Murray looking to recapture his glory days at SW19 under Lendl’s supervision this year.
