Sam Querrey’s unsuccessful attempt at finding love on American TV show Millionaire Matchmaker has a happy ending after all.
The American world No.21 has announced that he is engaged engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Abby Dixon. An American model who is represented by a number of companies, including Trend Spain. The two have been together since 2015.
Querrey started to date Dixon shortly after his appearance on Millionaire Matchmaker. A show where the host, Patti Stanger, tries to find partners for millionaires. Querrey has won over $10 million in prize money so far in his career.
“The date was fun, the girl I chose was really cool. At the end of the episode it said we’re still together, but actually she never talked to me once after the show was shot,” Querrey told The Sun Sentinel.
It was probably for the best that the girl never called him back as romance blossomed between him and Dixon. Over the weekend, Querrey popped the question and is now set to become a married man. After he finishes his clean-up operation.
Querrey has little time to celebrate his engagement with the first Masters event of the season approaching. He heads into the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells with a win-loss of 4-5 so far this year. His best achievement of 2018 so far was reaching the final of the New York Open, where he was edged out in three sets by Kevin Anderson.
