
The official entry lists for the qualifying tournaments of Sydney and Auckland include several top-100 players.
The two tourneys will be played from the 7th of January, in the second week of the Atp World Tour 2017 season, just before the Australian Open.
The acceptance list for the Apia International Sydney qualifying shows a really high level, with an original cut-off of 89. Thomaz Bellucci, Alexander Dolgopolov and Gastao Elias lead the field, while Jeremy Chardy and Dustin Brown will be among the players to watch.
Furthermore, the Asb Classic is held on the outdoor hard courts of the Asb Tennis Centre in Auckland. Horacio Zeballos, Taylor Fritz and Ryan Harrison are the highest ranked players in the qualifying entry list. Korean hope Hyeon Chung and Poland’s Jerzy Janowicz are set to play as well.
