The only noticeable aspect was the fact she played the majority of it from the baseline. A series of baseline exchanges can be expected during today’s match in Madrid.
Coric faces the daunting task of Novak Djokovic in his third round match today. Madrid is his 11th appearance in the main draw of a Masters event. The Croat is yet to reach a quarterfinal with his best performance being the third round at this year’s BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
Milos Raonic’s practice raised more questions than answers. After a couple of points played, the Canadian kept stopping and leaning over to recover.
