Milos Milos appears slightly off his game during Wednesday's practice session.

Simona Halep appears eager to start her Wednesday match against Timea Bacsinszky after some furious hitting during her practice session.

The world No. 7 conducted her session on the Manolo Santana court alongside Borna Coric. It was just a general warm up for the Romanian with no stand out differences to her usual game. The only noticeable aspect was the fact she played the majority of it from the baseline. A series of baseline exchanges can be expected during today’s match in Madrid.

Coric faces the daunting task of Novak Djokovic in his third round match today. Madrid is his 11th appearance in the main draw of a Masters event. The Croat is yet to reach a quarterfinal with his best performance being the third round at this year’s BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

Milos Raonic’s practice raised more questions than answers. After a couple of points played, the Canadian kept stopping and leaning over to recover. He kept going, but it is unclear if he is feeling slightly unwell or not. The world No.10 has recently  told ubitennis.net that he currently has no injury issues. Only time will tell if there is anything to worry about for the Raonic camp.

Finally, the focus of Stan Wawrinka’s session was play at the net. The French Open champion looked relaxed about of his potentially tricky encounter against the notorious Nick Kyrgios later today.
