Martin Landaluce has qualified for the Next Gen Finals in Jeddah for the first time in his career after serving as an alternate last year.

Landaluce qualified for the Australian Open main draw for the first time in his career. The 19-year-old Spanish player won the second ATP Challenger trophy of his career and the first this year in Orleans and moved to fifth in the Next Gen race to Jeddah. He won a main-draw match against Martin Kypson in Cincinnati.

Landaluce won the US Open boys singles title in 2022.

Landaluce is coached by Oscar Burrieza and Esteban Carril.

“I try to rely on discipline more than motivation. A lot of people think motivation comes first, but for me, discipline comes first and that brings motivation. You start doing something, and as you get better, you start enjoying it more. That’s where the motivation comes from.”

Jakub Mensik, Learner Tien, Alexander Blockx and Dino Prizmic have already qualified for this year year’s edition of the ATP Net Gen Finals.
