Medjedovic earned an early break with two winners in the first game. Musetti broke straight back in the second game to draw level to 1-1. Both players held on their next seven games. Musetti earned two set points on return in the 10thgame and converted his first opportunity when Medjedovic hit a volley backhand into the net.
Musetti earned a break point in the second game of the second set, but Medjedovic saved it. Musetti converted his third break point in the eighth game and sealed the win on his second match point in the ninth game.
