Felix Auger Aliassime cruised past Lorenzo Musetti 6-4 6-2 in 1 hour and 25 minutes to reach the quarter finals at the Shanghai Rolex Masters inside Qizhong Forest Sports City Forest City Arena.

Auger Aliassime achieved his fifth win against a top 10 player. The Canadian player avenged his defeats in his two previous head-to-head matches at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and at the Masters 1000 tournament in Miami to draw level to 4-4 in his eight head-to-head matches.
