Elena Rybakina rallied from one set down to beat Ekaterina Alexandrova 3-6 6-0 6-3 to win the WTA 500 title in Ningbo.
Aleandrova broke serve in the third game to win the first set 6-3. Rybakina broke three times to take a bagel win in the second set forcing the match to the decider.
Rybakina went up a 3-0 lead ay the start of the second set. Alexandrova held her serve ending Rybakina’s nine-game winning streak. Rybakina broke again in the eighth game to complete the come-back win. Rybakina won a milestone 10th career title and her second title in 2025 following her win in Strasbourg over Lyudmila Samsonova.
Rybakna fired 11 aces and won 61% of her first serve points.
Rybakina adds this title to her collection that includes the Wimbledon trophy in 2022 and two WTA 1000 title in Indian Wells and Rome in 2023.
