World number 1 Carlos Alcaraz beat world number 4 Taylor Fritz 6-4 6-2 in 70 minutes to reach the final at the Six King Slam in Ryadh. Alcaraz will face either Jannik Sinner or Novak Djokovic in the final.
Alcaraz won 44% of his return points and converted three of his five break points. The Spanish player won five service games in the first set. He earned a break in the fifth game and held serve to close out the first set 6-4. Both players wasted break points in the third and fourth games of the second set.
Alcaraz earned two breaks in the fifth and seventh games to open up a 5-2 lead. He saved a break point, as he served for the win in the eighth game before sealing the win on his third match point.
