Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski beat Olympic champions Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini 6-4 6-3 to reach the final of the doubles tournament at the US Open.
Routliffe and Dabrowski earned their first break in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead. They did not face any break points in the next games and served out on their second set point in the 10thgame.
Errani and Paolini saved two break points in the fifth game of he second set. Routliffe and Dabrowski broke twice in the seventh and ninth games to seal the win.
