Jack Draper, Giovanni Mpetchi Perricard, Tomas Machac and Alejandro Tabilo were nominated for the Most Improved Player in the 2024 ATP Awards.
British number 1 player Jack Draper won the first title of his career in Stuttgart on grass beating 2021 Wimbledon finalist and two-time Stuttgart cchampioMatteo Berrettini. He reached the semifinal at the US Open losing to eventual champion Jannik Sinner before beating Karen Khachanov in the final of Vienna on indoor hard court. One week after his triumph in Vienna Draper beat top 10 Taylor Fritz before losing to Alex De Minaur at the Paris Bercy Masters 1000 tournament. Draper reached the Adelaide final in his first tournament of the year and advanced to the semifinal in Acapulco on his debut as a top 50 player. He ended the season with a 39-22 record.

Tomas Machac
Czech rising star Tomas Machac reached his first ATP Tour level final in Geneva last May after beating Novak Djokovic. Machac beat Andrey Rublev and Andy Murray to advance to the quarter final in Miami and scored wins over Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz to become the fourth lowest semifinalist in the history of the Shanghai Masters 1000.

Giovanni Mpetchi Perricard
Giovanni Mpetchi Perricard won his first ATP Tour title in his hometown Lyon after saving a match point against Tomas Martin Etcheverry two months before his 21st birthday.
Giovanni Mpetchi Perricard: “It means a lot. A lot of dedication, a lot of dedication, a lot of hard training, a lot of questions about my game. I am very happy to win to win in Lyon, my hometown”.
Mpetchi Perricard won his second title at the Swiss Open in Basel beating Ben Shelton in the final. He became the first Frenchman to win the Basel title since Yannick Noah in 1987. He earned five top 30 wins beating Felix Auger Aliassime Holger Rune and Ben Shelton en route to his title in Basel.
Alejandro Tabilo:
Chilean player Alejandro Tabilo started the season at world number 85 and rose 62 points in the ATP Ranking reaching a career-high number 19 last July. He finished the year inside the top 25. He won his first title in Auckland and reached the semifinal at the Rome Masters 1000.
Alejandro Tabilo: “As a player I have learned more about how well I can play with counter-attacking, with how aggressive I can be. I think my serve has been improving a lot more and it’s been a big help. I think as an overall player I have become a little more aggressive, which has helped me a lot”.
