Tallon Griekspoor came back from one set down to beat Lorenzo Musetti 3-6 7-6 (9-7) 7-6 (7-3) and reached the second round at the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam.
Musetti broke serve in the fourth game of the first set to take a 3-1 lead. The Italian player earned three set points at 5-2, but Griekspoor saved them. Musetti served out the first with a hold at 15. Griekspoor converted his fifth set point to win the tie-break of the second set 9-7. Musetti converted his third break point in the second game of the third set to open up a 3-0 lead. The Dutch player came back from a break down in the third set and saved two match points when he was serving at 5-6 15-40 in the third set. Griekspoor earned two mini-breaks to win the tie-break 7-3.
Griekspoor will face either Hubert Hurkacz or Jiri Lehecka.
David Goffin overcame Croatian Next Gen player Dino Prizmic 6-4 6-7 (12-14) 6-1 in 2 hours and 56 minutes. The Belgian player earned his first ATP Tour level win since Antwerp last October. Goffin will face either Alex De Minaur or Sebastian Korda.
Przmic pushed Novak Djokovic to four sets at the Australian Open in a match that lasted four hours.
Milos Raonic beat Dutch wild card Jesper De Jong 7-6 (7-5) 6-4. The Canadian player will face either Alexander Bublik or David Goffin.
