Despite winning his first Masters 1000, Andrey Rublev does not budge in the ATP rankings, whereas Holger Rune moves up to the seventh spot, a new career-high.

A few comments:
- Stefanos Tsitsipas, the winner of the 2022 and 2021 editions of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 1000, but defeated in the quarterfinals this year by Taylor Fritz, drops two positions.
- Felix Auger-Aliassime loses two positions as well and is No. 9.
- Daniil Medvedev and Casper Ruud gain one position. The Norwegian, in spite of a disappointing first part of season is back in third place. That’s a maths mystery.
- Lorenzo Musetti edges back into the top 20, pushing out Borna Coric, another player who has been struggling this year.
- The gap between Djokovic and Alcaraz increases by 90 points. The two are now separated by 470 points.
NITTO ATP FINALS
The best litmus test of players’ performances is the ATP Race, whose top 8 at the end of the year will qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin in November. Russian tennis appears as rock solid, boasting 3 players in the top 8: Medvedev, Rublev and Khachanov. Holger Rune is 11th.
