Danielle Coliins beat Bulgarian lucky loser Viktoriya Tomova 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 to set up an all-US third round match against Jessica Pegula, who cruised past Canadian Sebov 6-3 6-1.
Collins earned an early break in the second game to open a 5-2 lead. Tomova won three consecutive games before Collins saved two break points from 15-40 down to hold serve in the 10th game.

the tie-break 7-3.
Collins leads 2-0 in her head-to-head matches against Tomova.
Pegula broke Sebov’s serve five times. Both players traded breaks in the first four game to draw level to 2-2. Pegula broke serve in the fifth and ninth games to win the first set 6-3. The US player earned two more breaks in the second and sixth games to close out the second set 6-1 in just an over an hour.
Pegula hit 11 winners to 13 unforced errors.
“I luckily knew her a bit. We were playing ITF around the same time, and she has been doing much better this year, starting to creep back up there and playing some good tennis”, said Pegula.
Paula Badosa battled past Laura Siegemund 7-6 (7-2) 4-6 6-3. Badosa broke twice to open up a 3-0 lead. Siegemund pulled one break back in the fourth game for 1-3. The German player broke for the second time, as Badosa was serving for the set. Badosa won five consecutive points from 2-2 with three mini-breaks to seal the tie-break 7-2.
