Sinner will face a third round match against John Isner, who beat Andy Murray 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 on Centre Court. “
It’s going to be a hard match against Isner, especially on grass. I hope to be able to read his serve. It’s one of the biggest challenges to respond to John’s serve. There will be crucial moments, when he is on serve. I will try my best. I responded well when I faced him last year in the Davis Cup. I lost against him in Cincinnati in three sets last year. I expect a difficult match. I am happy that I was able to win two matches on grass. I played better with Ymer than against Wawrinka.I could play better on key points. I converted six of my 19 break points. I am really sorry for Matteo Berrettini, who was forced to pull out of Wimbledon as he was tested positive to Covid. His season was unlucy”, said Sinner.
