Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski reached their fourth ATP Tour level of the year with their 6-1 3-6 10-5 win over Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini in 76 minutes.
Koolhof and Skupski teamed up for the first time at the start of the year and won three titles in Melbourne, Adelaide and Doha.
Fognini and Bolelli saved two break points in the third game of the first set. Koolhof and Skupski earned two breaks in the fourth and sixth games to seal the first set 6-3.
Bolelli and Fognini saved a break point in the first game of the second set. Both teams went on serve until the eighth game when the Italian team broke at love to seal the second set 6-3.
Koolhof and Skupski won four consecutive points from 0-1 down to take a 4-1 lead in the match tie-break. They held their mini-break lead until 8-5 and won two consecutive points on return to seal the tie-break 10-5. Koolhof and Skupski will face either Australian Open champions Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios or Hubert Hurkacz and John Isner in the final on Sunday.
