World number one Novak Djokovic is reportedly being denied entry into Australia after a mix-up with his visa application.
After receiving a medical exemption to participate in this year’s Australian Open, Novak Djokovic arrived in Australia on Wednesday evening getting ready to start preparations for the first grand slam of the season.
However after uproar over Djokovic getting the exemption in the first place it is now being reported that there has been a mix-up with his Visa application to enter the country.
It appears that some of his team filled out the wrong visa documentation with there also being question marks over his reason for exemption.
Three hours since the world number one landed and he still has not picked up his bags to travel within Australia.
The uncertainty and drama continues to follow Djokovic with news of his arrival not pleasing many Australians who have been in lockdown for the last year.
There could be a scenario where Djokovic may have to fly back home if his exemption and visa application is not accepted.
