Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah beats Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares to earn their first win at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin

Two-time former semifinalists Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah beat Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 6-2 6-4 in 76 minutes at the Pala Alpitour in Turin. 

Cabal and Farah, who reached the semifinals in 2018 and 2019, will take on second seeds Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury. The Colombian team won Wimbledon and the US Open in 2019 and reached world number 1 following the conclusion of the Championships. This year they won three titles in Dubai, Barcelona and Vienna. 

Cabal hit a volley winner in the first game to earn an early break. Farah fended off two break points at 3-2 thanks to two volleys from Cabal. The South American team earned a double break in the seventh game to close out the first set 6-2. 

Farah hit a forehand winner to break Soares in the first game of the second set. Farah saved a deciding Deuce point to take a 4-2 lead. Farah broke Murray at love with a forehand return winner to race out to a 5-2 lead. Murray and Soares pulled one break in the eighth game fo 3-5. 

Cabal and Farah scored their first win over Murray and Soares since the Barcelona Open final in 2019.
