Felix Auger Aliassime is currently training at the Rafael Nadal Academy by Movistar with his coach Fredric Fontang.
The Canadian Next Gen player hit with Academy player Aaron Cohen under the watchful eye of Toni Nadal.
Auger Aliassime reached three indoor court ATP Tour finals in 2020 finishing runner-up to Gael Monfils in Rotterdam, to Stefanos Tsitsipas in Marseille and to Alexander Zverev in Cologne, but lost in the first round at the Australian Open and at French Open and in the fourth round to eventual champion Dominic Thiem in the US Open.
The Montreal-native player ended the year at world number 21 spot in the ATP Ranking. He lost all his six ATP finals in his career. He was part of the Canadian team that reached the Davis Cup final in 2019.
He has played in six ATP Tour finals during his career. He has scored a record of 23 wins to 19 defeats during the 2020 season.
Auger Aliassime has had the opportunity to talk to Rafael Nadal before his first training session, which has been directed by Rafael’s uncle Toni Nadal.
