Hitting 28 winners in the match, Tsitsipas managed to break Bedene on five occasions with some aggressive play.
Since struggling in the first round against Jaume Munar, where he came back from two sets to love down, Tsitsipas has looked in impressive form as he looks to turn from a challenger into a contender for the title in Paris.
Next for Tsitsipas will Grigor Dimitrov, who was two sets up on Roberto Carballes Baena before the Spaniard retired. Monday’s tasty fourth round encounter will be the first against each other.
In other results Andrey Rublev continued his fine form with an impressive 6-3 6-2 6-3 win over Kevin Anderson.
The South African was broken on five occasions as Rublev now sets up a fourth round meeting with Marton Fucsovics.
The Hungarian, who beat Daniil Medvedev earlier in the tournament, defeated Thiago Monteiro 7-5 6-1 6-3.
