On day 11 of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic outclassed Roger Federer 7-6(1) 6-4 6-3 to secure his eighth final in Melbourne. It was a dominant display that saw Federer surrender his hold on a 21st grand slam title. There was also the unexpected losses of world number one Ashleigh Barty and Simona Halep in the women’s semi-finals. Instead Sofia Kenin and Garbine Muguruza will battle for the title on Saturday.
