The Australian Open partner Uber Eats, a spin-off of the famous and controversial ride-sharing app using car drivers to deliver takeaway food, has produced a series of commercials aired in Australia during the tournament featuring some high profile tennis players.
Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki are shown ordering take-out in different playing situations (while readying to serve, discussing with an umpire or sitting at the change of ends), while Nick Kyrgios witnesses a make-believe physiotherapist order her dinner (and offer him a chip) while attending to his ailing shoulder.
