Two time grand slam champions Mike Bryan and Jack Sock are into the final at the Nitto ATP Finals after a 6-3 4-6 10-4 win over Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares.

The Americans ended British hopes by edging out Murray and Soares to reach the final in London, a feat that Jack Sock failed to do in the singles last year.

After a great start, the Wimbledon and US Open champions were pegged back in the second set but stormed back in the match tiebreak to reach the final.

They will face French duo, Pierre-Hughes Herbert and Nicolas Mahut tomorrow after they survived a tough test from Colombian pair Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.

There was a fun start to the match as a collision with a ball girl, saw some fine and entertaining from Jack Sock.

Even though Sock’s acting was questionable, his forehand certainly wasn’t as he was fired up and punishing the British-Brazilian dup for every mistake.

In the end the fifth seeds got their reward despite being denied many opportunities and grabbed a crucial break in the eighth game. The break was enough as the first set was sealed in 30 minutes.

The British crowd were behind Murray and Soares as they were looking to maintain their undefeated streak for the week.

As Murray and Soares’ level increased, the more entertaining the tennis got as the crowd started to become more proactive in the match.

The Cincinnati champions eventually levelled the match breaking on a sudden-death deuce in the tenth game as a match tiebreak would decide the match.

A mix of rapid quick reflexes from Mike Bryan with Jack Sock’s powerful forehand saw the Americans dominate the third set from the tiebreak.

It was to be heartbreak for the fourth seeds again as they would fall at the semi-final stage. A Jack Sock volley sealed victory and their place in the showpiece final.

The American, who have won two grand slams in 2018, will have a chance for revenge as they will face French duo Herbert and Mahut.

The French pair edged out Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah 6-3 5-7 10-5 in a tense match. The star of the show was Herbert as he produced some fantastic doubles IQ to help the team prevail into their first final at the Nitto ATP Finals.

For the two teams they will meet for the second time in 48 hours after the Roland Garros champions thrashed the Americans 6-2 6-2 in Round Robin action.

The doubles final will take place at 3:30pm.
