The last ATP World Tour tournament before the Finals will be played in Paris-Bercy on indoor hard courts.
Previously played on carpet, the Rolex Paris Masters is the final ATP Master 1000 event of the season. As the court pace was defined as “Slow” in 2015 and “Medium” in 2016 and 2017, tournament director Guy Forget said that the courts will be faster this year. Once again, Roger Federer’s presence in Bercy is in doubt, while Rafael Nadal is confirmed to play.
The Wild Cards for the main draw have been given to the home hopes Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Ugo Humbert. Corentin Moutet, Gregoire Barrere, Constant Lestienne and Nicolas Mahut have been awarded Wild Cards in qualifying.
