Three time grand slam champion, Andy Murray has begun his preparation for the American hard court season at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
The former world number one has recently fallen out of the world’s top 800 after a hip injury that has ruled him out for 12 months. The Brit did make his comeback recently at Queen’s Club and Eastbourne but received a major blip in his return the tour after he withdrew for Wimbledon, deeming himself unable to compete in best of five sets.
However today, the former US Open champion began his preparations at the National Tennis Centre in London, where he practiced with recent Wimbledon doubles champion, Jack Sock. You can see some of Murray’s practice session in the video below:

The Brit looked back to his best in his three grass court matches last month and will look to gain more fitness and play more matches, when he plays his first tournament on the American hard courts in Washington. The tournament starts on the 30th of July.
