Two of the last three Davis Cup champions Argentina and Great Britain are the top two seeds for Tuesday’s World Group Play-Off draw.

The World Group Play-Off draw will take place at 10am on Tuesday morning at the ITF offices in London and feature the World Group first round losers as well as the eight Zone Group I second round winners. 2016 champions Argentina are the top seeds for the World Group Play-Offs after they beat Chile 3-2 thanks to singles wins from Diego Schwartzman and Guido Pella on the final day.

Meanwhile 2015 champions Great Britain are the second seeds for tomorrow’s draw after they lost their first round World Group match to Spain in February. The Brits enter their first World Group Play-Off tie for five years, where they were promoted to the World Group from Zone Group I.

Other seeded nations include 2014 champions, who fell to Kazakhstan in their first round tie without Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka. Meanwhile former champions Serbia, Australia and Czech Republic are amongst the seeds. The Czech’s look to get back into the World Group as they deal with life after Tomas Berdych.

Meanwhile amongst the unseeded teams are unfamiliar teams like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden and more noticeably Austria. The Austrians managed to beat a strong Russian team without the help of world number six Dominic Thiem as 36 year old Jurgen Melzer sealed victory on Saturday.
