Novak Djokovic has turned to social media to update fans on his preparation for the Australian Open.
The Serbian, who won the tournament in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016 used Twitter to showcase a video of himself training at Melbourne Park.

The news will come as great relief for fans of the former No.1, and for tournament organisers. Djokovic has not played competitively since he retired with an elbow injury against Tomas Berdych in the Wimbledon quarter-finals.
There had been concerns that Djokovic would not be able to take part after he was forced to withdraw from an exhibition event in Abu Dhabi. However, it seems that Djokovic has shaken off any major lingering doubts.
Djokovic’s confidence in his ability to take part is good news for a tournament already hampered by injury withdrawals. Former World No.1 Andy Murray has been forced out with his ongoing hip problems. He is joined by Japanese star Kei Nishikori. The 29 year-old torn a tendon in his wrist in the middle of last season, and has decided that he is unable to compete effectively over five sets.
Serena Williams has also pulled out from the women’s draw, as has Timea Bacsinszky.
