Roger Federer cruised to his 94th ATP title in Shanghai with a clinical straight sets win over nemesis Rafael Nadal.

The 73-minute encounter saw the 19-time grand slam champion drop just eight points behind his serve, facing no break points in the match. Sealing his fifth consecutive win over Nadal for the first time, Federer has now held 31 consecutive service games against the world No.1.

Ubitennis founder Ubaldo Scanagatta and Steve Flink from The Tennis Channel reflect upon the latest clash between the two heavyweights of the sport. The two also discuss Federer’s chances of denying Nadal the year-end No.1 ranking. A debate wide open after both players recently cast doubts about playing in the upcoming Swiss indoors, which awards 500 ranking points to the champion.
