Britain’s Cameron Norrie is in yet another Challenger final after the 22 year-old won his semi-final in Stockton. Norrie defeated 3rd seed Michael Mmoh 7-5, 6-2 to advance to his third Challenger final in as many tournaments.

Norrie edged a first set that featured five breaks of serve for the early lead. Norrie settled stronger in the second set, breaking three times and limiting Mmoh to just one as the match ended one-sided. A title win for Norrie would be his third Challenger success of the season, and would see the young Briton move to within striking distance of the Top 100.

Norrie’s opponent in the final will be 6th seed Darian King. The Barbadian won his semi-final with Tim Smyczek to ensure a return to the Top 200. King had slipped out of the Top 200 by losing in the first round of Tiburon last week, an event he won in 2016.

South of the border in Monterrey American Bradley Klahn moved into his first Challenger final in three years. Klahn knocked out 3rd seeed Frenchman Quentin Halys in impressive fashion 7-5, 7-6. Klahn survived a tough hold for five-all in the first set before breaking and winning. Klahn was bullish on break points, saving ten of the twelve he faced, but breaking three times from four with his opportunities.

Klahn will face 4th seed Maximilian Marterer after the German defeated Kevin King 7-6, 6-3. Marterer could move into the Top 100 were he to win the title. Marterer is looking for his second Challenger title of the season after winning in Banja Luka last month.
