The entry list for the last tournament of the season before the Atp World Tour Finals has been realised this week.
The Bnp Paribas Masters is played in Bercy, a neighborhood in Paris, on indoor hard courts. The surface has often changed, showing very fast courts in some editions, but also pretty slow ones in the last few years.
World’s number one Novak Djokovic won the last three editions, beating David Ferrer, Milos Raonic and Andy Murray in the finals (always in straight sets). Roger Federer, who has entered the tournament but is likely to withdraw, won the tournament once, in 2011.
The original cut-off of the entry list is 38, with no players getting in with the protected ranking. The first alternates are Spain’s Pablo Carreno-Busta, Serbia’s Janko Tipsarevic, France’s Nicolas Mahut and Argentina’s Federico Delbonis.
