The entry lists for the ATP 250 tournaments of Chengdu and Shenzhen were revealed on Tuesday.

These two China’s events – taking place from the 26th of September to the 2nd of October – will open the Asian season, which will also include two Atp 500 tournaments (Beijing,Tokyo) and one Master 1000 (Shanghai).

The Shenzhen Open will hold its third edition, with Tomas Berdych defending the title, on the oudoor-hard courts of the Shenzhen Longgang Sports Center. The Czech Berdych also leads the 2016 field, followed by Belgian David Goffin, French Richard Gasquet and Australian Bernard Tomic.

Instead, the Chengdu Open will take the place of the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur, which has been cancelled. The inaugural edition has a pretty good acceptance list, with the original cut-off at 59, featuring one top-10 player, French Jo Wilfried Tsonga, and two other top-20 players, Australian Nick Kyrgios and Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.
