Kazakh tennis player Yulia Puntiseva was denied a post-match handshake by the chair umpire after the two were at loggerheads during her first round match against Russia’s Varvara Flink at the Citi Open in Washington.
The 45th-ranked Putintseva seemed unhappy with the line calls throughout the two-hour battle, forcing an exchange of words between the two.
“You complain about every shot on the line,” said the umpire.
“This is my last match with you,” Puntintseva responded.
“I hope so.”
YOU GUYS.

The umpire seemed so annoyed with Puntintseva that she refused an offer of handshake from Puntintseva after not disappointing the other player.
This is not the first time that the 21-year-old has clashed with the officials. At the French Open earlier this year, she disputed a line call during her second round match against Andrea Petkovic.
Meanwhile, Puntintseva is scheduled to lock horns with local wildcard Usue Maitane Arconada for a place in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
