
Andy Murray’s straight sets triumph over Milos Raonic in the final of the Wimbledon Championships has sparked a Twitter frenzy.
The world No.2 was the highest trending search on Twitter with an estimated 230,000 tweets within the first hour after he won his second Wimbledon title. Becoming the 21st man in the Open Era to win multiple titles at the grass-court major, Murray has been congratulated by celebrities all over the world, including football player Gareth Bale and the British royal family.
