Roland Garros’ goal of completing 66 matches on Monday has failed after poor weather conditions at the start of the day forced the cancellation of ten matches in the women’s draw.
Dominika Cibulkova, Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic will have to wait until Tuesday to start their French Open bids. The tournament is far behind their planned schedule after only ten matches was able to be completed on Sunday due to the weather. It is hoped that Monday’s action will start at 13:30 CET.
