Rafael Nadal can’t be too happy with the results achieved so far in 2016. No titles won yet, a first round exit at the Australian Open and two defeats before the final in both South American clay court events played last month. For someone like Rafael it is legitimate to ask for something more.
The not so brilliant results seem to be behind Rafael’s decision to get back to old strings for his racket starting with the Masters 1000 of Indian Wells. The Spaniard had been trying new strings for the first part of the season, but the change made didn’t produce the results Nadal was hoping for and now the Spaniard has decided to take a step back towards his former habits.
Will that help him to go far in the Californian desert?
