Is Maria Sharapova going to announce he retirement from tennis tomorrow? As alarming and out of the blue this announcement might sound, there are serious doubts that are being recently cast about the Russian and her future in tennis as soon as the 5-time Grand Slam champion decided to organize a live press conference for Monday, March 7 in Los Angeles.
The 2004 Wimbledon champion and currently World No.7 has already decided to pull out of the BNP Paribas Open event in Indian Wells with an arm injury, but nothing seemed too serious for the Russian, as she has been dealing with injuries quite often in the past couple of years.
On Maria’s website a surprising announcement was made today, titled: “Maria Sharapova to make an announcement at a press conference” with the date set for the 7th of March, Monday, at 12:00 PM Los Angeles time.
On Twitter fans and experts are now starting to wonder what will Maria be announcing tomorrow, hoping it won’t be the case of a retirement press conference.
