Federer is scheduled to return to action in two weeks time at the Indian Wells Masters. In the past two years Federer has been runner-up to Novak Djokovic at the tournament. It is currently unclear if the 34-year-old will be ready in time for the event.
Meanwhile, Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) has reported that Federer could play at this year’s Monte Carlo Masters. At the start of the year Federer surprised many when he revealed that he wouldn’t be participating in any clay court events in the build-up to the French Open. There has been no confirmation for Federer’s team, however, given his recent lack of play on the tour. A return to Monte Carlo is appearing more likely.
